Our Mission

Mission: To encourage, enrich and empower individuals for personal growth using the therapeutic qualities of horses, animals, and nature in an experiential (hands-on)  farm setting.

Who We Serve: Anyone who is struggling physically, mentally or emotionally and deem our program an opportunity for growth and learning. 

Beliefs: We are of a firm belief that there is something about the outside of a horse, animals, and nature that are deemed therapeutic and healing for the inside of a person.

​We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

Be A Volunteer

Are you looking for a place to use your special talents or  be a part of a team connected with horses and farm life? We are grateful for our volunteers and are always in need of volunteers to further grow our programs.

 Volunteering here at Cherry Ridge is a great way to enjoy horses, kids, and those with special needs or behavioral issues, in the setting of a horse farm or in the Butterfly Sanctuary. 

 Besides working with horses and kids, your talents could be applied toward other things needed around the farm, including but not limited to horse care, pooper scooper, grooming, special events, clerical, marketing, website master, mailings, gardening and a lot of other things you have a talent for.
